We don't have sophie. We have Vulli Chan Pie Gnon instead and the baby loves her. They are both made by the same company. Chan Pie Gnon squeaks. I don't know if Sophie does.

Sophie is great. I will let my sister know that it is on sale. She is currently pregnant.
My son loved sophie. loved chewing and squeaking her. We pulled him out again recently and my son still likes chewing on her. the legs are great for molars!

Oh that is awesome. I wanted to get it for my now 15 month old daughter when she was born but they were so expensive, and since they are onsale I can get it for the baby due in august! So cool! Thanks for the tip!

You have to see it to believe it! When a friend sent me Sophie, I was like, "huh? rubber giraffe/dog toy?" But my 4 month old looooves her Sophie... she snuggles it, noms on it, it occupies her in the car seat. The other day she fell asleep in the car seat with her head resting against Sophie's... it's like, her best friend.
sophie is great..as is chan...but my 4 month old developed a severe reaction to her (latex allergy). just an fyi if you see bright red cheeks when your baby uses...discontinue immediately.
I give a Sophie to every new mom as a shower gift - everyone falls in love with her!
